We took a break from the red rocks trails of eastern Utah and stopped in for a look at EJS 2016. Check out some of these cool new products we found.

Capture Pro

Rigid Industries is always creating innovative lighting solutions, and its new Capture bar has our attention with the built in GoPro mount that allows for a constant power supply to the camera. This means the only limiting factor is the GoPro’s card size. The idea is you can now record full trail runs, races, and other adventures with ease. We got our hands on one so keep an eye out for our install and review.

Rock Ready Joints

The new Skyjacker Rock Ready are designed as a direct-replacement for the 2007 to present Jeep Wrangler JK ball joints. The Rock Ready joints are crafted to share the load between the upper and lower ball joints as opposed to the OE design that consists of a full weight carrying lower and a follower upper. They look impressive on the tech sheet but in person these things are beefy.

LeDuc Series Suspension

Skyjacker was also showing off its new Leduc Series bolt-in coilover and bump system for 2007 to 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK. With a true bolt-in-design that can easily be returned to stock, adjustable ride height, and air bumpstops, this kit is ready for hardcore ‘wheeling.

Sway Bar Evolution

EVO Manufacturing is always looking for ways to improve the performance of the Jeep Wrangler JK. The company’s new air actuated sway bar disconnect is another one of it’s genious products meant to increase your ‘wheeling experience. It’s powered by your existing ARB compressor by simply adding an additional solenoid and allows you to quickly disconnect and connect your sway bar when traveling through adverse terrain where both is needed. The disconnect is expected to ship sometime in April with an estimated retail of $299.

JSPEC

"A Jeep in a box" is what the guys at JKS Manufacturing call the new JSPEC suspension kits. And after a quick look in the "Box", we agree! The new JSPEC 2.5 and 3.5 JK suspension systems come complete with everything you need- including the brackets, JKS valved shocks, front and rear dual rate coil springs, brake line relocation kits, JKS MFG sway bar disconnects and adjustable front track bar. The company also offer a complete 2-inch kit for you TJ fans in the same fashion as the one mentioned above. (You can read more about the basic 2-inch TJ kit here.)

Don't Disco

If you’re not a fan of completely disconnecting your sway bar, you might want to take a look at the new JKS Flex Connect. Instead of disconnecting the sway bar altogether, the Flex Connect link stays connected and works similar to a coilover shock. Inside, it houses two Pac Racing springs, which allow the link to extend and compress under load. You can further dial in this rate with an assortment of spring rates.

Wheel With ICON

ICON Vehicle Dynamics is known for its suspension products, but the company has recently announced a new wheel line. The first wheel being released this spring is dubbed the Shield. Backspacing is designed for Toyota and Jeep applications and engineered to optimize caliper clearance and steering function. We saw these wheels out on the trail and in action this week. So far, we like ‘em!
