Celebrating Classic Trucks at Brothers Truck Show [VIDEO]
It is hard to find something that screams Americana more than a classic pick up truck. The fact that the top two selling vehicles in the country are pickup trucks is a testament to this heritage. Once the backbone of the farming community; many who grew up riding shotgun in old pickups have come to love the cab-and-bed combo and turned them into both daily drivers and show vehicles. Naturally, these old trucks sometimes need some TLC - as not many were preserved as classic cars, but rather used as the workhorses they were intended to be. Thankfully, companies have stepped up to the plate providing all of the parts needed to restore, repair, and upgrade these trucks. As a replacement and restoration parts supplier for classic GM trucks, Brothers Truck Parts sought to celebrate their customers and the trucks they have built so began hosting a Brothers Show & Shine event to bring everyone out to have fun and enjoy their trucks. The Brothers catalog covers Chevrolet and GMC trucks from 1948-1987 and all years were well represented at the show held at Canyon RV Park in Anaheim, California. Varying styles and levels of trucks were on display. From original drivers, to resto-mod trucks and full blown customs featuring air suspension, billet wheels and modern drivetrains. No matter what stage or condition of truck you brought to the show, you were welcomed by all - sharing the love of classic trucks. With the C-10 model truck being one of the most popular restoration choice right now; several groups have started based around this platform including the C-10 Club, C10 Crew and more. The Brothers Truck Show has grown year over year with over 400 classic GM trucks coming out this year from all over the country for the laid back event that felt like a day barbecuing in the park with your close friends and their pickups.
